The SCAG V-Ride II is available in 32", 36", 48", 52", and 61" cutting widths and is designed for commercial durability and performance. Fuel capacity varies by model, with the 32" unit holding 5 gallons, the 36" holding 6.75 gallons, and the 48", 52", and 61" models equipped with 8-gallon fuel tanks. Drive tire sizes differ by deck size, with the 32" model using 20" x 6.5"-10" tires, the 36" model using 20" x 8"-10" tires, the 48" and 52" models using 24" x 9.5"-12" tires, and the 61" model featuring 24" x 12"-12" tires. Caster tires measure 11" x 4"-5" on the 32" and 36" models, 13" x 5"-6" on the 48" and 52" models, and 13" x 6.5"-6" on the 61" model. All models include an extra-large comfort cushion for operator support.
The drive system features a dual pump and motor configuration for smooth, responsive control. The 32" and 36" models are equipped with Hydro-Gear 10cc pumps and Parker 12ci motors, while the 48", 52", and 61" models utilize Hydro-Gear 12cc pumps paired with Parker 14ci motors for increased performance. Forward ground speeds reach up to 8.5 mph on the 32" and 36" models and up to 10.5 mph on the 48", 52", and 61" models, with all units capable of 5 mph in reverse. A hand lever controls the parking brake.
The cutter deck is available in either the Advantage deck on the 32" and 36" models or the Velocity Plus™ deck on the 48", 52", and 61" models. Cutting height is adjustable from 1.5" to 4.5" in quarter-inch increments and is controlled by a hand lever deck lift system. The deck is constructed using a tri-plate design made of three steel plates totaling nearly one-half inch of steel thickness, with reinforcement plates at the cutter deck spindles; the 32" model features a dual-plate configuration. Spindles are built with cast-iron housings and tapered roller bearings for long-term durability. Blade engagement is handled by an Ogura GT2.5 clutch rated at 150 ft-lb on the 32", 36", 48", and 52" models, while the 61" model uses an Ogura GT3.5 clutch rated at 250 ft-lb, and both systems feature an adjustable air gap to extend clutch life.
